no song will ever make me feel the same way as stuck in gravity does. ‘head is still an animal’ is such a raw and important line; it shows that despite how the band's style has changed over the years, they're still the same people whose music we fell in love with. and i think that's an important thing to remember, and im really thankful that the song exists.

i remember when beneath the skin came out, and i loved it despite how different it was to my head is an animal. and i felt the same way about fever dream - it may be different, but each omam album is beautiful in its own way, and im glad that the band were able to grow as musicians and write music that they're passionate about.
