If i ever have a child who has anxiety i will never lie to them about it like my parents did because to this day i don't actually know the difference between being actually excited and having an anxiety attack.

I literally told my parents they should get me officially diagnosed with anxiety so when it comes to speeches and all that it'll be easier. But literally all mum basically said was "the whole point of having anxiety is to push through it" So if I have a panic attack in front of my entire class, it's just me giving it a go right?? Wow. Your concern for your daughter's health it OUTSTANDING. It's not like I asked to have anxiety but y'know.
