As I leave my apartment to walk up the street to go vote, I hope others in my second home are voting too. I'm not much in to politics, but I know everyone has a right to be part of making change. If you live in Asbury Park, please vote to keep small business and community alive. I hear It's going to be a close one.

thinking about projects with food again....my favorite coffee shop. ever.
Last week before the hurricane I stopped in to Sweet Joey's on Bangs Ave. Sweet Joey Valentine and his father do custom denim and tailoring. Joey has also recently been making jewelry...one of a kind pieces from a collection of fishing lures, found pendants and chains, and old keys from Slovakia.
