The Vlad | High Seas Open Roads 2014
Last week, I had the opportunity to photograph one of the helmets from High Seas Open Roads (see previous post for more info). The Vlad helmet is truly a one of a kind, very special, AND it's wearable. Handcrafted and sewn from individual pieces of denim, Vlad of Sweet Joeys told me it took him 7 hours to complete. Crazy right?! I remember getting the bidding started the night of the auction and battling it out for awhile with another girl. It was my favorite one naturally, I clad myself in denim quite often, but I also knew the amazing and talented gentleman who made it. Vlad Pisch!
