The Reality on Plastic Pollution in Indonesia!
The Citarum River featured in this video is just one example of plastic pollution in Indonesia. Almost all waterways and sea shores are used to dispose of garbage. When I was at Bali Island School I learned of two ex-students who recently made kayaks from discarded plastic bottles and paddled them down the Citarum River, capturing film footage along the way. This highlighted the problem that needs to be addressed. We need more people in Indonesia to make a stand against plastic entering the waterways. STEP UP!
