i cannot get over how much i fucking love this song. nick mulvey is brilliant anyway and his lyrics and guitar playing are always so good but this song in particular is written so beautifully and it’s about the refugee crisis in the uk and it’s told from the refugees’ points of view and he raised money for them and also the song is a a fucking BOP it’s not cheesy or sad or anything, it’s such a good tune and has such a good chant and it goes on for ages and UGH THE BEST SONG

such a soft and pretty song. i found it on the soundtrack for dear white people, and i remember it took me SO long to find it because i didn’t know the name of it and wasn’t sure if it was officially on the soundtrack, i was just going by one really good, soft ending scene in the second season of the show. i’m glad i found it bc it’s such a gorgeous song
