The first time I believe I actually spoke with Duke Gremory she helped me from being abused by my father. I won't go into much detail about the situation but I felt very protected. She then became a protector in many aspects of my life. Sometimes she would comfort me when I was upset & other times she would be someone to talk with. From a young age I also started to have sleep paralysis and she even comforted me during episods of paralysis.
At first she appeared to me as a beautiful woman with long hair & pretty eyes. As I started speaking with her I would notice at times she would travel & become a beautiful black mist as she went. After I encountered her more she would dress elegantly.
Sometimes I would see a castle & specifically an elegant room with comfortable pillow-like seats. Other times I would see a beautiful nature scene; often with lovely trees, sunshine, a body of water, and a glorious meadow. I believe she was traveling dimensions and showing me them!!
At first she said she wouldn't tell me her name; she wanted me to discover it on my own. I was in my teen's at the time and was learning the basics of divination & magick. It took about 5 years after meeting her before I realized she was Duke Gremory. Now that I know it makes so much sense!!
I appreciate everything she has done for me, especially when I was young and struggling. I consider her to be motherly like towards me & I am grateful.
It seems like she has a soft spot for children, I feel like she took me under her wing.
I have noticed throughout the years she is cautious of many & when she believes someone will hurt me she would let me know. Sometimes she could be angry but only out of protection.
Has anyone else had a similar situation in regards to Duke Gremory or another deity?? :)
