“Are you really sure that it doesn’t look weird...?” Banjou felt his face light up as Shuu carefully placed a flower crown on his head.
“It doesn’t, trust me.” He smiled so peacefully and adjusted the crown until he was pleased with its position. “Now you look like a prince.”
Was that a compliment or a joke? “Stop making fun of me...” Why did he even agree to go on dates with him in first place? Curse his beautiful smile and his gentle voice, why did he fall in love with him in first place?
Shuu’s delicate fingers intertwined with his boyfriend’s. “I’m not making fun of you, to me you’re a prince and I love you.”
Why did he do this to him? It wasn’t fair. “I love you too.” Why did it feel like his heart was about to burst every time he said those words? They never had a special meaning to him before, they were just words. All the times that the thought that he loved someone felt distant, like a vague memory of a faint dream, but what he felt when he was with Shuu was real.
Maybe it was stupid to fall in love with someone who was way out of his league, but that didn’t stop him. So Banjou leaned down and locked his lips with Shuu’s, he could talk so sweetly but after all actions spoke louder than words.
