Emeishan China 1996 🇨🇳 Baoguo Monastery in the foothills of the holy Mt. Emei was a fascinating place to base ourselves for the trek up the mountain. Baoguo is a fully functioning monastery built in the 16th century and crammed to the brim with pilgrims on their annual ascent of the holy mountain.
