Apologies for the lack of original content lately
August was crunch month for getting everything done so I could graduate, and I’ve been feeling it. It’s been so bad that, outside of livestreaming with Taylor, I haven’t touched a video game in three weeks. Fortunately, as of today, everything is in place for me to finally graduate, and I can update you guys on what you’ve missed in the last - shit, five weeks? Since the end of July.
Speaking of the end of things, the following posts are from the final session of the Curse of Strahd campaign! Spoiler alert: we won. After that is a series of one-offs we did while trying to sort out dividing up the big group into smaller ones and who wants to go to which campaign under what DM. Originally, it was going to be Zach (Father Zaytsev) running a homebrew pirate campaign in 5e, and Bill (one-time guest star Shamash) DMing the Curse of the Dragon Queen. Unfortunately, real life has gotten in the way, several of the regular players for Curse of Strahd can’t make it on Mondays anymore for various reasons, and Bill has mysteriously vanished, as far as I can tell. So, after these one-offs, it looks like Mark is not going to get his wish of actually playing instead of DMing for a few months, and is going to run the sequel campaign to Curse of Strahd for those of us remaining: The Scrolls of Life. It will be tagged as #scrolls of life.
Details and tags on the one-offs will be in text posts before their respective quotes start going up.
