Quick Adoption Day FAQ
Submission or ask?
Submission, please, if it is too long for one ask!
Another submission/ask, or should we reblog?
I’d like to keep it all in one thread, so please reblog yours if you can.
Do we have to matchmake?
Absolutely not, you’re welcome to simply ask for a breed and offer your gifts. Matchmaking is just part of the fun and helps us make sure everyone ends up happy!
No rush, but is there any way to get my matchmaking done faster?
Absolutely! You can [Buy me a coffee] to expedite your submission! Just make sure and tell me that’s what it’s for!
Can we adopt rares today?
I’m tempted to open rare commission, but they wouldn’t be priority, so unless you are willing to wait a week plus, probably not. However, if you don’t mind going to the end of the winners’ list (That would be at least 5 commissions before I got to yours) then we could discuss it. Message me at @msmkcreates if that’s the case.
What are the donations for? Didn’t we fundraise already?
Yes, we did, and every penny has gone to bills! You guys actually paid for me and my husband to be able to see our family at Thanksgiving, and we are very grateful!
Donations during this event are more of a way to gauge the adoptables as a long-term business plan, as well as just because I often get asked how people can support me. Every piece of art I’m putting out today is free--and I’ve already received more than enough submissions to equal the number of free adoptables the community helped pay for. I’m not at all trying to money-grab here or anything, but you’ll never get anything if you don’t put it out there, right?
If you donate today, you get entered in a drawing to win a Custom Bonded Pair (2 skellies of your choice, unique art, plus a short drabble!)
Are all the portraits the same with minor changes?
They are indeed! In the future I might make a few more to choose from, but for right now we have just the one set. If you’d like to commission a more unique picture of your adoptable to be done later, that’s an option, and once again see the “Can we adopt rares today” answer to see how to proceed.
