this is hands down the best fic I read this year - so beautifully written, realistic, and just exactly what our characters deserve! it's a Nirnaeth time loop fixit AU and truly made me CRY ;-;

4. What is your favorite book?

Okay, so every fiber of my being wants me to say something by our man Tolkien, but I just can't. My current favorite so happens to be this SciFi Thriller called The Luminous Dead by Caitlin Starling. Brief synopsis: a young woman is hired for the exploration of a perilous cave and to find the previous people who went down before her and died if she can. It's the right amount of suspense the entire way through and it leaves you feeling unsettled in the right way. Meanwhile, there's also a slow-burn lesbian romance going on between the young woman and the gal who hired her. I won't spoil the ending but I was screaming for more.

22. What’s the weirdest thing you’ve seen someone do in public?

As someone who lived outside of New York and now lives outside of Washington D.C. I have seen some really weird things...all of which frankly aren't that weird given the locations??? And I mean once you've seen that stuff nothing really hits the mark as being weird. But I do have to say, the time someone tried to feed Gothmog, a dachshund aka a wiener dog, a hotdog while making jokes was really weird. Luckily, Gothmog is small and I was able to just pick him up and walk away. Like I get it, he's a wiener dog and it would be funny to feed him a wiener but like fuck off.
