im just gonna send an ask bc i ran outta room in the reply but anyway I was AT a con last year and at this pony panel they asked for the 'oldest brony' to give them a prize (youngest also got one) and this older lady (like 60) raised her hand and everyone was like 'aw cute' but the dude next to her literally told her she didn't count bc she was a girl so she had to be a pegasister and she looked so sad as she put her hand down like omfg. the panelist ripped that guy a new one though so yeah

JESUS CHRIST thats shitty. and like i said, im not even surprised and nor did i have any doubts that what you were saying was true. im having a hard time replying to this because i want so badly to say "thats unbelievable" or "i cant believe that happened" but i really can and that just makes me so angry and sad. 

i think mlp is honestly THE best example of a good show with a shitty fandom. superwholocks? annoying at best, but bronies really take the cake for "worst fandom for a good show"
