[This is my armaldo, Skitter, helping transport Fraigo to the school we talked at today.]
(sends many juicy berries! (100))
You look kinda like my noibat Azure! But he's super fluffy.
Question though: Do noibats normally eat fish? Azure seems to like fish a lot but only the cold northern water fish and bitter berries...
Thank you for the berries I love you thank you berries berries yes thank you
[Barbara here. Fish are common in some noibat diets, but not necessary. Depending on where the noibat was born and raised, they might find insects to be better, or amphibians, or sometimes, only berries! Fraigo here is on a berry and the occasional poffin and pokeblock diet, as she was illegally released into the wild upon hatching, and despite all of Hoenn's bugs and fish, wasn't prepared to hunt on her own.]
For Barbara:Do you typically have a lot of pokemon at the shelter? Do you get a lot of variety or are there particular pokemon that end up there a lot?
For Fraigo: Have you met any fun pokemon you want to get to know/think are interesting at the shelter?
//if I sent a similar ask twice please just ignore that fact because im 90% sure I accidentally sent it the first time to the shieldon blog 💀
[There's a good variety of pokemon we take in at the Lavaridge Shelter, but we more often get the ones that other places aren't equipped for due to certain care needs making them "difficult". For example, you won't find a beldum unless really lucky at Slateport's main shelter, it'd get brought here. We have ten permanent residents other than Fraigo, and typically hold twenty others depending on how many get adopted.]
Oh oh oh I like the old woman torkoal friend the most her name is Grannie I wanna be friends she calls me little pest
Chesto Berry- The muse’s bedtime routine
[This is Barbara, the main caretaker of Fraigo here. Bedtime starts with a bath, which every second day includes a small check up on her sore wing. Then, it's time to brush her fluff, brush her teeth, and get her cute little pyjamas on. She still has trouble with maintaining good heat. Then we help her climb to her favourite perch, and tada, sleepy Fraigo!]
