His favorite hobby is rescuing distressed damsels. Fortunately, we’re all damsels compared to him.
Behold! Garash’Zabar, the Golden Prince, Catastrophe Incarnate! The last portrait in that obnoxious project that I’ve been working on since forever! Everything about this one was a hassle, and I’m sure it shows. I don’t even know when I’ll get to use it, since the Prince here was part of a party that disbanded violently. But he’ll be back someday, and when he is he’ll have a proper picture. Also, I finally finished something, and that’s... something?
So, Garash. Garash was made for grappling. If he pins something smaller than him, he can proceed to wield it. It’s hilarious and impractical, and most of his build is tied up with making it viable in the first place. Fortunately, sheer strength keeps him pretty capable with a greatsword. I’ve been looking at ways to increase his size beyond Huge. Wielding a dragon seems like some kind of achievement.
He’s another one of those characters who’s just ridiculously fun to play. We’ve had him charging into battle with Light cast on his gleaming silk pants. We’ve had the wizard making ride checks to stay on his back. We’ve had him wrestling a dragon out of the air so the paladin could smite it. Ironically, I think this self-sufficient brute has been part of more in-combat party cooperation than any other character I’ve played. He’s an awful ruler, but sometimes he’s a darn good leader by accident.
