Barbie in Wonderland - movie concept
At first Lorina (played by Barbie) thinks her little sister Alice (played by Kelly) is just being imaginative when she says her animal friends in 'Wonderland' are in trouble. But when Alice disappears, and a frantic talking rabbit comes to beg Lorina's help, she learns that Wonderland and its magical inhabitants are all too real. Down the rabbit hole she goes, into a confusing land ruled by the feared Queen of Hearts, where time is running out to save her sister--and the rest of Wonderland.
Question about 12 Dancing Princess. After the film what did they do with the gateway since it was smashed to try and stop the princesses from foiling the bad guys plot. Did it get repaired but it no longer has the gateway to the other world or did they just removed it and covered it up?
I am not sure if there's a canon answer, but I would strongly assume they repaired it, even if it didn't have magical properties anymore. It was related to the books their late mother gave them, so it would have enough emotional significance I would think.
That getting said, I've always headcanonned/hoped the girls later discover how to reopen the portal, or how to create their own. I've always been really curious about where the magic world and portal came from--did their mother discover it and pass it on, or did she create it for her daughters? If so that raises a lot off interesting questions. Lots of fanfic fodder!
If I wrote a Survivor AU where the competitors are characters from the BCU (Barbie Cinematic Universe) would anyone read it? Who all would you want to see included? And would it be cool if I let the readers do the voting?
Happy spooky month! First thing that comes to mind from the prompts: the twelve dancing princesses girls + summoning a demon via a ritual? :eyes:
OOF yes I love 12dp, and their circle dancing is perfect imagery for demon summoning. It's just a matter of who to make the demon. My first thought is Genevieve; being demonic is where she really got her charisma, talent, luck, etc.
Also not totally in line with the prompts, but what if their mother appeared in the circle? I mean, her having demon powers would explain how she left her daughters magic books and a magic dancing realm. It could also explain why there were 12 daughters and no sons; for whatever reason, she didn't want sons, and it was within her power to decide that (maybe that's more of a witchy thing than a demon thing though). Like just imagine them all being like "MOM!?!" and she's like "Oh, hi girls, about time you started learning how to use your powers, I feel like I've been waiting in the underworld forever."
