i’d like to imagine regulus invites barcarola on a weekend ship ride for whatever which reason (when questioned, she ends up just looking very awkwardly away, exclaiming that a pirate needs no reason to explore the seas with her crew). and she isn’t expecting much, though in hindsight she should’ve known barcarola actually knows how to drive a ship too
idk any ship terminology myself, nor how tf they work! but just imagine, ok?? barcarola says something that most folk definitely would not know about piloting a ship, knows some complicated ass knots, or is just surprising really fucking buff and can lift the anchor with ease
and then regulus proceeds to fall in love and also overboard
