It's probably gauche to use Tumblr for charity fundraising, but imma do a little bit of it anyway (as a treat).
BARCC's big annual fundraiser, the Walk For Change, is coming up at the end of April. Their mission – putting an end to sexual violence – is really important to me, and I've been a supporter of theirs for a long time. So this year I'm stepping up (hurr) my fundraising efforts for the Walk.
My goal is to raise $3000 to fund BARCC's volunteer training programs. This year I'm matching donations, so if you donate on my fundraising page, I'll double it, up to $1500. This is absolutely an "every little bit helps" thing so if you have the means, feel free to chip in $5 or $10 or whatever you can.
