Is there any chance you could do a snapshot of a Bard of Mind? That would be great!

' this is the only time i'll ever ask you for your thoughts on one of these but i couldn't find anything about Bard of Mind. allows the breakdown of critical thinking and theory to occur around them and subverts reasonable expectations just by existing? if you ever feel like doing some extra writing, maybe how they could cooperate with a Prince of Blood

Yeah that’s basically Bard of Mind, what’s great is that they might end up doing this to other people regardless of whether they are allied or enemiesThe bard of mind can also kind of do the inverse, allowing people’s minds to wander into bad places or think of really bad ideas that will eventually lead to their own destruction

I’m kind of going into headcanon here but I think at some point all bards will lose all traces of their aspect in themselves [Gamzee having no rage while being sober, cronus being cronus] so the same might happen to the bard of mind which sounds kind of awful

Prince of Blood and Bard of Mind sounds like a really awful combo to go up against, I guess you could hope that the bard will accidentally sabotage the prince at some point if you’re against them

The Prince of Blood and Bard of Mind would work together pretty well against groups of people, and I think the larger the group is the betterWhen the Prince of Blood causes groups to degenerate and fall apart, the Bard of Mind might either prevent people from thinking clearly and tracing anything back to the Prince, or better yet, people might start overthinking things and start blaming each other somehow, causing some good stuff

The Bard of Mind and Prince of Blood’s title stuff mainly co-operate outside of literal fights, and I guess outside of the context of my 100+ person session they can do this to denizens, consorts, and carapaces as well, just deconstructing whatever social hierarchy there was and preventing anyone from becoming coherent enough to fix it

It works both ways, so the Prince’s powers can prevent people from stopping the Bard from doing his thing as well as the Bard’s powers preventing people from stopping the Prince

Can you please do bard of time?

oh god can you imagine how depressing it would be to be a bard of time

Or a bard of anything to be honest

The Bard of Time is someone who destroys time, specifically by inviting its destruction or by allowing time itself to destroy things

Neat thought would be of a bard who passively makes things grow old and wither or rot around him, or someone who may make entire periods of time just skip by or be undone/reset without warning

The bard seems to be passive in the sense that in their presence time itself will seem to do its own thing and may even become personified through them

Could you do Bard of Life and Heir of Rage?

I swear I know somebody who is a Bard of Life, I just can’t place who

The Bard of Life is somebody who invites the destruction of life or allows destruction to happen by unchaining the aspect of life

I imagine the bard of life being someone who walks around and flowers and grass and small animals just drop dead around him every once in a while, and his very presence is toxic enough to shorten the lifespan of anyone around him [regardless of his personality]

The Bard of Life also [similar to gamzee beginning without any rage in him, and cronus having no hope in him] may begin their quest without life. This means they may be a zombified version of themselves, or a ghost, or [depending on your spiritual view on robots] a construct

They can also invite destruction through life, meaning living beings and rampant growth can overrun enemies or allies and destroy them

People’s lives leaving behind some kind of destructive influence

For Heir of Rage I think I actually posted about that but that was back in the day and I’m actually too embarrassed about that snapshot to link you so anyway

The Heir of Rage is one who inherits rage as an aspect. They may be passively protected by fear or anger beforehand as well: Others may not want to do them harm out of fear, or problems may be solved through a sudden burst of strength wrought by anger.

If they inherit rage, it may allow them to become the personification of what other people fear or hate, or alternately manipulate people’s insecurities or hate to reach whatever goal they desire

Heir of Life and Bard of Breath please?

Heir of Life, one who inherits life? They are protected by Life as an aspect so I suspect they could casually regenerate themselves or even passively have other things regenerate themselves if needed. Eventually they may inherit Life as an aspect which means they will be able to use Life as a tool to breathe creation and new life into things that are dead or broken

Bard of Breath uh. One who allows breath to be destroyed..? oh here is a thing []

Hm, Bard of Light? From the looks of it you haven't done a Bard of Light before.

it's a little bit strange also it's character snapshots so it's not immediately evident

I guess to ruin it or explain it, the Bard of Light is one who allows fortune / positivity / knowledge to be destroyed

They are really weird because they are bards and you never really know their exact effects but for example one bard of light draws spirals on his skin as a cathartic method of destroying his painful memories and knowledge [Similar to a bard of rage getting stoned and being chill as a result -- it is less about the literal action and more about the effect it has]

The Bard of Light is a dangerous person to have in your session because Light is concerned primarily with victory, success, and fortune, and in particular the % chance of reaching said fortune/success/victory [ Luck ]

The Bard of Light will totally mess up their enemy's chances, and maybe their ally's chances too, and in general it's kind of a mess like most bards
