11. favorite fun fact about them?: I feel like every fun fact I've ever learned about them as completely left my brain the moment I have to come up with one, whoops! The one that I do really love though is how when John L was in The Mundanes and he tried to pitch "Now That I Have Everything" to the rest of the band, he was too shy to sing it/sang it too quietly. However when he took it to Flansburgh he was able to pitch it and they were able to make it into a song. I think that's a fun fact/sweet story.

12. favorite silly thing/clip the johns have done?: I feel like a million things come to mind but I really want to say that dance they did for "Number Three" that was in that 1987 "120 Minutes" rehearsal footage that just got released. Here :)

15. favorite lyric from any song?: "I want to raise my freak flag/Higher and higher and/I want to raise my freak flag/And never be alone/Never be alone" from "How Can I Sing Like A Girl" which has been my current go to song lately.

Idk if you’ll know this, but how does the fruit in the pie work? Once he ripens the fruit, doesn’t something else have to rot?

Yes! There’s this scene in the first episodes where they show the flowers at the back of the kitchen dying due to him *undeading* the fruit for the pie, so basically they keep restocking the place with flowers and live fruit that’s eventually going to die for the rotten fruit to be alive again (I believe there’s a scene in the last episodes of season 2 of Ned and Chuck doing that same thing)
