BAPO Fandom, look what I found! This is a fan film based on Bare: A Pop Opera, which takes place before the events of the musical. It shows how Peter and Jason's friendship begins, how they both struggle with their problems, how Peter tries to overcome his nightmares. A significant place in the film is occupied by the friendship of Peter and Lucas, who was the first person Peter met when he arrived at boarding school. Peter's relationship with Jason does not work out at first, but gradually everything changes and they begin to get used to each other. There are a lot of sweet moments between Peter and Jason: they watch movies, go to cafe, take polaroid photos together. This movie is really worth watching for all BAPO fans.
Little spoiler: The movie ends with Peter going to his mom's for Christmas, and Jason and Nadia staying at school. Peter and Jason hug and say they'll see each other again in a few weeks. Yes, it's very cute, but damn it, we all know that the action of the musical begins right after the Christmas holidays, and when watching this scene, it's impossible not to think that they won't have a happy ending.
So, in Bare: The Beginning, we don't have mucas, but we do have uh... luter? Seriously, if you don't know the plot in advance, then at first you might think that the relationship will develop not between Peter and Jason, but between Peter and Lucas.
And yes, when Peter arrived at boarding school, Lucas was the first person he met. Interestingly, Lucas was carrying Peter's heavy backpack on his own initiative, although Peter didn't have any other things or bags, and therefore Lucas's help looked quite strange. Then Lucas constantly hung out with him, supported him, invited him to parties, while Jason behaved extremely unfriendly towards Peter at the beginning of the film. It seems that luter could have a happy future here, because Lucas is more courageous and independent than Jason, and would not be afraid of his orientation.
"Good morning, handsome."
"Good morning, darling."
(Yes, I'm totally obsessed with this film)
