the color of my hair is really pretty~

i have a freckle that looks like a seahorse and i think that's pretty rad

i think i'm pretty funny, like i make myself laugh far more than is probably healthy

Alright tumblr help me out. I'm doing a Braviary gijinka for Otakon, and I've run into a bit of a stump. I'm trying to go about this cosplay without appropriating any Native American culture, which considering Braviary's design is a bit of challenge. I've got plans for two separate outfits, one of which is a punk rock Braviary and the other is a fighter pilot Braviary. One issue I'm stuck on is figuring out how to incorporate feathers or feather designs into my cosplay without appropriating. Braviary's design itself is influenced by Native American culture, and as someone who isn't from such a culture. I don't want to be disrespectful by wearing something not intended for me. If anyone has any good ideas for incorporating feathers in a way that won't ruffle anyone's feathers (huehuehuehue bird puns) please send them my way! I also don't want to completely erase the Native American influence from Braviary. So, on another note, if anyone knows of a good source for me to buy jewelry or elements that I could incorporate into the outfit, that are made BY Native Americans and are not sacred and are made by them with the intention to share with others, go ahead and shoot me a message and let me know! Also if there's something I missed or didn't catch onto or shouldn't do, let me know. Thank you!
