Well my original post went like this when my tickets first arrived about 2,months ago via currier....Yay! Well possibly Yay with this whole Covid-19! This will be my second time attending the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve F1 race. The last time was in 2003 for Gilles Villeneuve’s son, Jacques’ last race in a formula car under his own brand of BAR Honda during the 25th anniversary of the Air Canada Grand Prix. Now, instead of sitting in the stands watching the free practices and qualifying sessions today, I’m sitting at home, still unable to leave the island even if I wanted to. Even though they are still announcing race locations for the 2020 season and even these first 8 races will be done without fans being in the stands unfortunately I doubt that there will be time within the 2020 F1 calendar for Canada to open up its borders before the snow flies in Montreal. Here’s looking forward to next season and to keeping the F1 dream alive.
