...Oh. That had scared him? He was a fearful child, it seemed. That was okay. Bean had been too, kind of. And he’d been one himself.
Maybe he’d only poked his nose out without taking a peek out of the blanket?
Maybe.
Perhaps he’d feel better knowing that he was in the presence of another polar bear. He’d always lived in the arctic, right? Surely he knew other polar bears, unlike himself when he was a child.
He made sure to put on a friendly smile, before carefully lifting up the front of the blanket and peeking under.
