UHHH anyhoo! I introduce you to Maximus, otherwise known as Jazz Guy!
The case around his back is a saxophone case, as he’s a musician! However, he’s more of a hobbyist musician than anything, as he has insatiable anxiety and stage fright - he’s terrified of actually trying to play for others.
He’s a very kind and polite man however! He’s very booksmart and warm to others in general. When the cataclysm came around, he ventured out to Homeowner’s neighborhood to find a place to stay for a while before he could figure out where to go - he lived in a neighboring city beforehand and wanted to see if he could find his parents, but he eventually learned they were being quarantined in another area.
He’s polite to the Homeowner as well, but, like Cashier Girl, has fear about the current apocalypse and the rise of Visitors - this leads Maximus to not want to talk with a lot of people out of fear that anyone could be wanting to kill him…he’s especially terrified of Vigilante.
If there is one house guest he would trust, it would be Bar Guy, because welll….he has the fattest crush on him. He and BG actually know each other a little bit! They would converse at the bar together pre-apocalypse, as Maximus would often watch the occasional live music with an aching wish he was brave enough to do so. Sitting by Bar Guy and listening to his grounded wording often calmed him, and still does!
(Yes yes another oc x canon. I call them BarJazz!! it is not a yumeship this time, just simply oc x canon c: )
