Hey friends, PUP ART: A Show For Fluffy Singles is still live! You can buy my exclusive piece based on an adoptable BarkBuddy - half the sales go right to the rescue! It's only up for the rest of October. Please share with anyone you think would be interested (not just my artwork, any of it!), they're trying to raise as much money as possible.
Thanks so much!
On Thursday, October 9, Bark & Co threw New York's hippest art show -- PUP ART: A Show For Fluffy Singles. Wholly organized by the team behind BarkBuddy, an app that helps you find adoptable dogs near you, the show raised money (and awareness!) for local NYC shelters.
A group of local and international artists each created a unique piece for the show, inspired by a BarkBuddy. Proceeds from the sales went to the shelters represented at the show.
It was a puptastic NYC art event. Our four-legged friends really brought the class to South Williamsburg last night, and thanks so much to everyone who came out and supported local shelters through art purchases!
Hello Tumblr, I want to share this cool thing that I was invited to participate in!
I was asked by the nice people of Bark & Co. (BarkBox) to be a part of a benefit event in Brooklyn, NY for rescue dogs. It is called "Pup Art: A Show For Fluffy Singles". The goal is to raise money for dog rescues by selling fabulous art!
The assignment was to pick a dog to illustrate from their new app, BarkBuddy (It's like Tinder for dog adoption!) Picking just one was too heart breaking, I ended up falling for two!
The girl on the left is Moon. Her face was too sweet to pass up. The post said she is a 2 year old stray that had clearly been a mother recently. :(
The handsome boy on the right is Rex. He is just the sweetest little guy.
Both are still available for adoption!
The event is at:
Brooklyn Bubble Wrap Studios
58 South 6th Street, Brooklyn NY.
October 9th 6pm-8pm RSVP here!
Prints will also be available online at some point, I will link to those as well when I find out more.
