so i am of the crowd that thinks being able to fight joker in p3r’s dlc is goofy as hell because in reality he wouldve been like 10 or 11 y/o when the answer took place

though some people i brought that up to thought that was a ridiculous thing to get hung up over because you can fight makoto and yu in p5r ?

i mean. the thing about makoto and yu in p5r is that they would’ve already dealt with their bullshit by the time ren’s dealing with his… so like say the phantom thieves meet the real versions of them in their time and challenge them to a battle instead for whatever reason. they would see them using their personas and shit and since theyve already had their journeys they’d be like “oh okay yeah i see what’s going on here”

but then with s.e.e.s fighting ren it’s like. waaay before he awakened to arsene. like i said he would be close to finishing elementary or starting middle school (or however it works in the japanese school system) during the answer. s.e.e.s finds actual ren and is like “he’s a threat!!” and ren is like “i am playing with my touys…”
