We design and make custom mirror frames at our shop in Long Island City. This mirror, called Platte Lijst, is a 17th century Dutch design (platte lijstmeans "flat frame"). The frame is made from black walnut with a deep, clear finish. We cast and silvered the glass for this particular mirror ourselves.
