Barkworthies

Kitsumi got a Barksworthies bone today. It was called Rabbit Roll I believe. I have mixed emotions about this one. First off it was hard to get the plastic off. Second it had a funky smell. It was tolerable, but it reminded me of fish food, from the smell. Not sure if I would want her breath to smell like that. The third is that it was crumbly. It wasn’t a hard bone. It fell apart, when Kit bit it and she doesn’t have a strong jaw, she is only 41 pounds. It made a mess. In the second picture is the mess it left behind. Maybe other dogs wouldn’t leave anything behind, but apparently Kit was over it. It seemed to make her happy. She eat it then went to sleep. This roll also isn’t for big dogs. Kit has a small narrow mouth, with not a lot of power behind it. For big dogs I fell they would be a choking hazard! So be careful when giving them to your dog, this is definitely one that you have to watch them with. I like for the most part, a good chew that I can watch them every so often with but them move from the room to do chores if needed. Three out of Five stars. Three stars because kit did love it, the size issue is on my part, and the smell. I can’t get the smell out of my head!

The girls were in heaven with their #barkworthies beef jerky chews that came in last month's #TrulyPawsome box! I thought it would distract them while I worked, but Rosy made her way through the chew so quickly, I had to hold it for her & supervise closely.
