I AM VERY GLAD I CAME UP WITH THIS SHIP BECAUSE IT BRINGS ME SOOOO MUCH JOY.

I can't even explain why, it's just fun "moronsexual is in love with a himbo and is hating it" shenanigans. They're serotonin generators and it's the best.

BUT, there's also the small bit of possible enemies to lovers, maybe Carmine'd be conflicted about having a massive crush on the prosecutor trying to but his sister to death, then realize Barnham's really just being tricked by a system that's told him he'd doing the right thing.

They probably wouldn't have much story impact, but I still love them so much.

I interact with Evespella like I do Narumistsu, I see how gay they are, I get swept up in it, I see how obvious it is and I need it to be canon, but I don't really think about it much afterwards.

Regardless, they're SO gay and sad and angsty I care them greatly. They've even got childhood best friends, which is my secret weakness. Peak galpals.
