Too much of the blacksmith’s trade has been forgotten by the majority of people simply because it’s never seen around anymore. Today, if you say your a blacksmith, folks will either ask if you can make a sword.... or shoe a horse.
All three pieces started life at six inches of 1″x1/4″ steel. Everything you see was done entirely by hammer and hand, at the anvil. When the primer is dry, I’ll put on the top coat and then mount them with some others
