We had to bring one of our barn kittens in yesterday to warm up. Gavin went down to feed them and this little fluff monster came out to greet him. He stepped on a metal bar on the ground and got stuck. Gavin poured warm water on his paws to release him and then brought him inside dry him off and to eat. There wasn’t any damage to the pads of his feet. I’m so proud of Gavin for using common sense. I can’t imagine the damage he would have done had he tried to just pull him off. Anyway we loved on him and sent him back to his happy place. His brothers and sisters were missing him and he missed them. . . . . #barncats #barnkittens #barncatsofinstagram https://www.instagram.com/p/CJFSd9XnW2K/?igshid=114pldagnfb0m
Tfw you gotta nurse your babies but they have no sense of where to face their bums. Diana the barncat and her litter nursing under the shelter of the shade of the shed roof during a drizzly day. For her small body frame her kittens turned out quite spry. Counting the one that fled when it saw me, she appears to have a litter of 6. I did some video recording cause of how cute they were all snuggled up, I’ll see later if tumblr will accept the video clips.
