He's still...thoroughly in his feelings from the previous incident when the system alerts him to something being ported into whatever part of the park he's hiding away in. Looking over at it for a moment and freezing as his eyes fall upon...a model, one of a piece of merch he knew well, almost better than his own.

The model is that of...a Mollie plush, falling to the 'floor' after it spawns in, though it doesn't stay there very long. Being quickly scooped up into the raccoon's arms and hugged tight to his chest, his face burying itself into the cloth of the hat. A small choked sob escapes as he mumbles something to himself.

"...I'm sorry Mollie..."

the ride comes to a sudden stop, the remains of what was supposed to be it's next section laying beside the tracks. a cardboard cut-out of a familiar villain lays covered in rubble, torn in half with it's upper body on the ground.

rambley, who had been swapping in and out with mollie as ed's guide to that point, faded away in a glitch as the animated macaw looked forlornly towards the wreckage. a sigh escapes her beak.

" i miss my wife, ed. i miss them a lot. "

ed's been busy taking in the nostalgic atmosphere of the track, enjoying the sights and sounds despite the sudden glitch rambley endured in the beginning. frankly, if the car hadn't felt much more cramped than usual, he truly could be believing he was eleven years old again.

but then the track stops. brown eyes settle on the torn apart cut - out of salem, and the ruins their part of the ride were in. his thoughts were stopped just as abruptly, however, by the sound of his second guide sighing.

huh?

" ........... s--... sorry to hear that? " my god, these furries animals gay. good for them, he supposes. good for them. ( he's just... gonna leave her to yearn... and fix this silly ride. )

★ — Gregory winces ; physically pulling away from the concern in the animatronic's voice, the sudden movement eliciting a hiss through clenched teeth, flash of pain flickering across his features before he can catch himself. A careful distance is maintained between the two of them, Gregory half - turned in the opposite direction as if he's prepared to run at any moment.

"M'fine."

He's not — not incapacitated, but certainly in pain, with an arm extended across his chest so hand can flatten against the back of his opposite shoulder, where he had almost been grabbed before he'd managed to slip away ( a burst of adrenaline having carried him just enough farther forward ). But he speaks with a firmness that says he won't hear otherwise, he won't spend his time here being coddled by an animatronic meant to look after kids like him.

"Jus' a scratch. Not that bad." ( certainly not the worst that could have been dealt ). "I — I need to keep moving."

admittedly, it had been entirely second nature for michael — something done without thinking in a moment of weakness. a hand reaching within his backpack, the flick of a lighter in the other, then a lit molotov being tossed — directly... into... water. ah.

he's not entirely sure what he thought would happen, anyway. that the giant snake-like mascot would've burst into flame? when he had just seen it swim, anyway? ... no, he did know what he thought. he thought it had been some form of visual effect, a robotic limb puppeting the beast, with no water to speak of. robotics and water tend to mix poorly, after all.

he really needs to remember these aren't robots.

" ... be honest with me, mollie. would you believe me if i told you this wasn't the most stupid thing i've ever done? " no use crying over spilled stolen gas station petrol.

" FIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNLEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYY ! " a familiar voice, shouting from above. oh no ! it's the greatest pilot you've ever saw, about to crash into the lake !! SPLASH ! water flies up as the plane "lands" and begins to sink... before a familiar set of blue, green and white feathers emerges to the surface, spitting up and coughing out water from her beak before looking up to the serpent. " sorry about that, finley ! no barns around, this t-- " the macaw's interrupted again with a series of coughs.

he expected as much the moment he heard her shouting from above, preparing himself to act as a lifeline for the worryingly self-destructive bird. he uses his tail as a platform for her to grip onto, giving her a worried stare.

" ... mollie.. you know crashing into water is far more dangerous than a barn. " he scolds lightly, " you could get trapped underwater... and birds can't breathe underwater. from what i know, anyway... "

.. still, he's glad she paid him a visit.

" ... what brings you around this time, friend? "

" calls a voice from behind, and shortly after the sound of flapping wings fills the air before the other animatronic avian plants her talons back on the ground. she looks at chica with utter awe, if her eyes could sparkle, they would definitely be doing it. " they didn't mention anything about this in the service room ! " absentmindedly, her wings still flap, this time in excitement rather than for flying as she giddly stands. " HI ! my name's mollie macaw, the greatest pilot you've ever saw and newest addition to the superstar daycare ! what's your name ? "

admittedly, the chicken had been focused on something much different before being interrupted — the smell of food drawing her into the atrium from her nook in chica's mazercise — but the sound of feathers and talons made her freeze in place. and a voice, one she hadn't heard before... eyes of bright blues look over her shoulder, and she SQUEALS.

" OH! OHMIGOSH, HI HI HI!!! " she eagerly runs up to the macaw, holding one of her wings with both her hands. " wow, oh, ohhh, this is so so cool!! it's a real nice pleasure to meetcha, mollie!! oh i loooove your feathers, and your cute little hat!!! are those glasses? or, no-- goggles, right? AAH YOU'RE SOOOO CUTE I COULD JUST GOBBLE YOU UP!!! "

she's bouncing in place, kicking one leg up at a time as she does. how had she forgotten there were newcomers to the pizzaplex?! she's always on top of the gossip around here, having heard from higher ups and janitors alike of new animatronics joining the gang. but she had no idea one of them would've been a bird like herself!

" ohmigosh i forgot, um-- i'm chica!! chica the chicken, sometimes glamrock chica, but just chica works great!! i'm the mazercise instructor, a lover of all things foody, aaaand totally OBSESSED with your look!! did you fly? CAN you fly??? wait, you're a pilot, they fly all the time-- AAAH!! you need to teach me how to fly sometime!! "
