how do u say my love in french? why is it awkward?

Literal translation is the actual translation for once! It’s “mon amour”.

Maybe it’s because i’m French myself that I find it more awkward to say out loud than “my love.” It’s just so intimate while being extremely cheesy. Like something old lovers would say to each other, but would be a bit off to say in a fairly new relationship, even if you do love each other. Like it requires a certain level of common history and years of mutual love to be spoken without sounding odd.

But again, it might just be me and my dramatic ass.

i’m super bummed, but i won’t be able to participate this week cuz of all my midterms and projects and hw 😞 but my spring break is in a couple weeks so i’ll be able to participate then 😅

nbd my good dude! tbh this week hasn’t been nearly as big as I thought it would be (likely bc of a similar issue for everyone, spring breaks misaligning or midterms taking precedent) so we’ll probably have another shipping week later this year. (although i am planning a couple weeks/weekend events for other fandoms so we gotta Tread Carefully before i can talk any further on those plans)
