talk about little things on your body that you like the most
i like my long lush eyelashes and my small tapering fingers and the way my waist dips in deep but soft. i like the dimples that form at the corners of my lips when i smile. i like the gentle green in my eyes and the stormy grey and the subtle fleck of gold. mostly i like that all of those things are enough to make up for everything else i don't like.
talk about a place you remember from your childhood
one winter day when i was little i went on a sledding adventure with my best friend and my brother and her sister and our dads and i can still remember that day and the sledding slope and how beautiful it was - grey skies overhead, heaping snow everywhere, holly garlands on the gate, and (just as we were leaving) light from the lampposts sparkling like a fairytale. my childhood town was perfect (i went back two years ago - it definitely holds up to the fond memories) and there are lots of places i love to remember, but that one in particular is so magical to me.
