The dog-like chimera approaches them slowly, one foot in front of the other, and Ed tenses as he tries not to back away from her. He’s never been able to forget this moment as long as he’s lived. The lab in front of them is dark, and Ed stands completely still as Nina stops in front of them.
‘Big brother... you said we would play today,” she looks from Barry to Ed, tilting her head to the side slowly. ‘Mister, are you here... to play... with us?’
