seeing double
Barry's life had been pretty strange ever since he discovered the gift that bolt of lightning had imparted on him. In less than a second, he went from the perpetually-behind-schedule Barry Allen to a Barry Allen who had the potential to save world in the blink of an eye. Needless to say, it was pretty cool.
But between working with the police department and running tests at S.T.A.R. Labs, Barry was taking every free moment that he could get. So he awoke early that Saturday morning to take some time to get some chores done. Of course, it only took him about a minute to clean his entire apartment and fold all the laundry.
So once it was done, he decided to head over to the West household and move the last of his junk over to his new apartment. He figured that now he had finished his degree and had a decently steady job, it was due time to move out on his own. The moving process was still occurring, though most of his belongings had been vacated months before.
That was how Barry ended up in the West's garage, dusting off some old boxes and sheets. It was then that he stumbled upon an old treadmill. To be honest, he never remembered seeing it before, but there it was. And since he seemed to have an excess of energy at all hours, he figured maybe he'd ask Joe if he could take it to his place and get some use out of it.
Before he did that, he decided to test things out and make sure it all functioned well. So he plugged it into the extension cord, stepped up onto the belt, and turned the machine on. He kept his running to a relatively normal pace at first, then gradually sped up, just to see how much the treadmill could take. It seemed that it could take almost anything. But when sparks began to fly, he began to think he was overdoing it. The lights flickered, but the machine still whirred. And all of a sudden, there was a F L A S H .
The next thing he knew, he was somewhere else. Somewhere familiar, but not quite ringing any bells. It's then that he realized that he was in a laboratory. Everything was state of the art and looked brand new. As turned around, gaping in awe, he bumped into someone.
"Oh----sorry, my bad."

"Come on, it's just an old abandoned house. It's not like it's gonna kill you."

He's totally staring longingly at your food right now.
"Gonna stand there all night or show your face?"
