How things seemed to always change for the worse, when it came to Hayden's destiny.
"Listen here, shit-stain, I don't care how big you are. Give us your paperwork or else."
Threats made to Hayden could often be overlooked, few people posed true danger to him. Was that arrogance to think? No. It was a simple truth, one that was backed up by a lifetime. At times he could allow the poor manners of a hooligan to unanswered, it wasn't like they could stop him.
His hand moved with speed that betrayed his size, fingers closing around the jaw and mouth of the man. His vicelike grip tense as he raised the man into the air with an arm, their legs kicking as they tried to resist Hayden. Their hands going to grasp at the thick arm of the soldier-warrior.
"Preying upon weary travelers is a dangerous profession." He'd remark dryly, raising the man higher in the air until he was several feet off the ground to the astonishment of his compatriots. The absurdity of the situation giving them all pause, to which Hayden used by taking a step to the side. His arm would tense as he began to fling the body of the robber towards his allies, causing them to crash onto one another tumbling to the ground like a set of bowling pins.
Hayden smiled, a thin thing, at the display.
That smile soon faded as his head turned, to stare at the stranger who had been watching. What the fuck was he? A sideshow for the viewing pleasure of people?
"You trying to step up too?"
