Fic Rec: Everyone (should) love Bart
Bart Allen is very shippable. This is a fact. Here is some proof:
#1: Zeno's Elegy: (Bart/Roy) The battle is over, and Bart is old, slow, and more lost than he's ever been. Roy helps. "Bullshit, kid. I know burnout when I see it, believe you me."
#2: Begins in Confusion: (Bart/Kon) Cross-dressing amnesiac hookers. For when one cliche isn't enough. (also read 'best days of our lives' (Bart/Tim) by the same author.)
#3: Out of Time: (Bart/Booster) Strong relationships are built on commonalities, and differences.
Fic rec: Bart has brothers
Basically, Bart Allen is my favourite superhero, especially as Impulse, and I am in love with gen family fics. Thus, the theme of this fic rec session is Bart and his brothers. (Or, you know, a time-displaced half brother and/or an 'evil' clone).
#1. Meant To Find You All These Years: Bart deals with a message from his Mom; it's a little more complicated than 'I love you. Take care of yourself.' Make that a lot more complicated.
#2: Reset! (And sequels): Basically, Impulse has goes on a roadtrip with White Lightning, saves Max, and somewhere along the way bonds with his clone.
#3: Bart and Owen Drabbles: Bart is the most adorable little brother anyone could hope for.
