Having never displayed a journal in an exhibition (previously only displaying copies), I made Book 27 specifically to be shown at the Arts Council of Wilson. The journal was also used to demonstrate collage techniques and compositional strategies while teaching a Foundations of Art class at Barton College. Book 27 is more than twice the size of my other journals so it would be easier for students to observe the live demonstrations.
