Blake Flournoy and his Girlfriend Dana Green. An important ingredient to a project I shot in Silicone Valley in 2016. 3 months continually walking up and down the 7 mile Avenue, Bascom. Blake helped me understand what I was seeing and to see a little deeper than the tech companies and Starbucks that I was surrounded by. Beyond gentrification and popularity, this areas influx of wealth isn’t necessarily a good thing for everyone. A fortuitous meeting with Blake one morning as he sleeps beneath my windowsill opened up a Strong 3 month relationship with the vietnam veteran, plus 30 hours of interviews and film footage.
