I'm not good luck, Dean. Yeah, but you know what? Bottom of the ninth, and you're the only guy left on the bench… Sorry, but I'd rather have you, cursed or not. ⚾️😍❤️
AU where Goob becomes a professional baseball player, and stays friends with Cornelius in their adult life. He even gives his bestie free tickets to his games.
also, he's still a caffeine addict, he got himself one of those fancy espresso machines <3

Jelly!!
Thank you so much! For thinking of me and stopping by.
AND being amazing and an inspiration.
I wish I was able to write like you. Pardon, I don't know the words to use really, but you don't ever seem to slow up and keep producing great stories and you find inspiration in everything! I've seen you apologize for being slow and my mind is baffled because you are always posting for us!
To have half that would make me happy!
I say this because there's days/weeks where I want to write something and it either doesn't come or life gets in the way.
I'm lucky to get holiday stories out in time!
The story I mentioned to you that is inspired by you will get continued soon, I hope. It's started and I have some details in the works, at least.
Annnnnyway, thank you for being you!!
Will Cubs prospect Brennen Davis make MLB debut this season?
Will Cubs prospect Brennen Davis make MLB debut this season?
In the second round of the 2018 MLB draft, the Cubs selected outfielder Brennen Davis out of Basha High School in Arizona. Prior to the draft, his athleticism had been quite apparent as he was also a highly touted basketball player, though he did drop basketball in his senior year to focus on baseball. After the draft in 2018, he played 18 rookie ball games, slashing .298/.431/.333. In 2019, he…

Where to watch the World Baseball Classic online
Note: if you can afford the $24/month price tag on mlb.TV, that is the most reliable source for live games. However, if you spent all your money on cracker jack...
MLB’s YouTube channel is uploading every single game in full as the WBC progresses. This is not a live stream, but it’s the best free option to watch the games.
There’s currently a free trial of MLB Network for customers of Comcast, Cox, and Frontier, which will last through the entire classic. Just remember to cancel before the trial runs out.
Keep an eye on r/MLBStreams as game time approaches. The sub is full of wizards who share feeds, usually two or three per game.
There are also some sketchy streaming sites out there offering sketchy streaming coverage. Be sure you have a good ad blocker, and never share your credit card.

Finally, a friendly reminder that a loved one who pays for the MLB Network might be willing to trust you with their network login, giving you access to stream directly through their provider. Happy World Baseball Classic!
Is Sean Newcomb the Latest Example of a Steve Stone EarWorm That Has Been Planted in Chris Getz's Brain?
More spending from the White Sox: They signed left-handed reliever Sean Newcomb to a one-year, $4.5 million deal, per the team. That's two deals in the last couple days after the signing of Munetaka Murakami. Newcomb was arguably the best left-handed reliever left on the market.— Jeff Passan (@JeffPassan) December 23, 2025 The big homey and friend of the show Jeff Passan with the deets on new…
When a catcher could stop a shark
When a catcher could stop a shark
The tools of ignorance are actually pretty smart. The bigger mitt. Mask. Chest protector. Shin guards. Never play without a jewel protector, aka a cup. Add the throat guard and the goalie mask, though I prefer the old school helmet. I always felt as though this standard gear means you have things pretty well covered, at least the stuff that’s important. But as it turns out, not all in the…
