Synopsis of Zootopia 2: remember what white people did to Oscarville and the result was displaced/dead Black people and Lake Lanier? Yeah, that’s what they did to the snakes and others of the reptile population of Zootopia. They kicked them out and allowed the lynxes to expand Tundra Town…while also taking credit for the city’s weather wall from Gary’s great-granny! Good on them for finding Granny Agnes’s patent and FUCK THE LYNXLEYS! 10/10 for the gentrification metaphor and the literal racism the reptiles faced in the font of “explain it to me like I’m 5.” Lord knows you still gon have people acting dumb like the shit isn’t still actively happening and/or the effects of it happening back then aren’t being felt in the present.
