We Just Hit If Off He Liked My Beats And We Talked On Phone And He Asked Me Did I Want To Be A Main Producer/Artist For BasedWorld.. We Been Family Ever Since. He Been To My House And Met My Whole Fam..We Brothers. People Don’t Know Man I Really Helped Conceptualize A Lot Of Based/ BAsedWorld Culture. Before B Would Even Put Some things Out We Talked ABout How We Wanted BasedWorld To Be And What We Wanted To Go Down.. This Shit Ain’t Just Happen… We Worked For It.

Man Honestly Shit Crazy To Me Because When I Started Nobody Fucked WIth Me and Thought My Sound Was Too Different.. I Remember People Hatin On Lil B And The Fact That I Was Giving Him Great Beats Even Once People Caught On To My Sound. I Don’t Know If It Has Even Hit Me Totally Because I’m Still Workin Hard To Get To The Next Spot..I Still Feel Like I’m Beginning. But I Here People’s Music And Can See Where They Were Influenced Possibly By Me.. Even Some Big Names Now U Can Here Keyboard Kid And #Based...Just Look At My Back Catalog And You’ll See. But Man I Been Compared To J Dilla.. Pharrell Even.. Man And This Is By Major Writers. Iono Many Who Can Say That.
Being primarily known for your production work, how important is your work as an MC to you?
Man Being A MC is Super Important To Me Because Before I Could Make A Beat I Used To Write Songs And Shit And Beats Came After That So At Heart I’m Just An Artist Period. People Need To Know That I Can Do It All Tho.. My Raps All Except For #UnderTheSea Project I Put Out Been Freestyles… I Record Myself And Mix Myself.. It’s Very Pure And Natural And Real #BASED. My Bro Said I SHould Document Me Making A Project So People Can See...I May Do That. Like I been Rockin This is Me Never Been No Different.
