On the 8th of March, 2016, Bashar Madalha committed a stabbing spree in Petah Tikvah, Israel. He stabbed at killed US student, Taylor Allan Force, who was visiting Israel while on holiday. Next, he attacked Yonatan Azarihab who was raising funds for charity in the area. Madalha pounced in him and started to stab him in a frenzy. He was stabbed several times in the upper body before he forced the knife into Azarihab’s neck where it remained embedded. Azarihab managed to pull the knife from his own neck and stabbed Madalha to death with his own weapon, putting an end to his stabbing spree. Azarihab was rushed to the city’s Beilinson Hospital where he made a full recovery. Police ruled the stabbing spree a terrorist attack.
