He can be so tactless at times of pointless arguments but the “fights” are so funny. 😂😂

Aside from waiting for Keiji’s main route notice to be posted for us ENG players (I had such hope when I saw Keiji’s release notice in the China app too 😭), I’m patiently waiting for Yukimura’s sequel notice as well!!

The two sequels so far have been such a great insight into their past, fears and further reinforce their goals of a peaceful future.

Let’s hope releases are sooner than later for both of them!!

hello! i remember before you made a post about why we shouldn't call yukhei xuxi and you deleted it but could you explain again why? :0

ahh hello! sorry about that!! but i’ll gladly explain again! 

so, i think we shouldn’t call yukhei xuxi because xuxi is yukhei’s mandarin name. yukhei is born in hong kong there for natively speaking Cantonese. And on top of that there is also a whole issue about Hong Kong wanting to separate from China to eventually become their own country. So to some people in Hong Kong it’s a touchy subject to be called “Chinese” instead of “Hong Kongese.” So Yukhei’s name in characters is this 黃旭熙. Which in Cantonese is said Wong Yukhei, and in Mandarin Chinese it is Huang Xuxi. However, if you didn’t know this but Yukhei is actually not fluent in Mandarin. He actually struggles to maintain an actual conversation consistently in Mandarin without switching to English or Korean to make sense of what he is trying to say. In general, it’d only make sense to call him Yukhei as it is his given name. 

In my experience, my family has Never called me by my Mandarin name, only Cantonese as it’s our language. And on top of that by using Xuxi, kinda means you’re erasing his Cantonese side which is known to be looked down upon by mainland China. So acknowledge Yukhei’s name as Yukhei unless you like know him personally or like speak MANDARIN. It only makes sense to call someone their native name instead of a translated name. 

ps. this is also similar to calling Renjun, Injun (his Korean name) -- which is an offensive term to an ethnic group i forgot, if anyone remembers please let me know! So all in all if you don’t speak Mandarin or not Chinese, call Yukhei, Yukhei. And if you’re not Korean, don’t call Renjun, Injun.
