okay but can we talk about how MASAMUNE GETS DOWN HE NEVER PLAYS???? I’ve replayed everyone’s route and im noticing how masamune was really about that life. They didn’t call him the ‘fighter’ for nothing.
Exhibit A: Mitsuhide sequel when Mitsuhide had to leave, the way Masamune viscously attacked him??? Also just in Mitsuhide’s route in general Masamune was the first to catch up to him and fight him. On that note…
Exhibit B: Everytime MC is with a suitor who is the enemy and they ‘take her’ Masamune is one of the first to catch up to them and trust and believe his swords are in tow.
Exhibit C: Sasuke’s route is a great example of this, where he almost nicked them (he really doesn’t play)
Exhibit D: He pulled out his sword on MC during his own route 😭😭
All of this is to say, while Hideyoshi is often considered to be the textbook loyal vassal. Masamune is right up there with him. Anytime they need to give chase, he’s right on their heels. And even if it’s the MC who’s suspected of being the traitor he won’t hesitate to pull that sword out.
But i mean i guess we should’ve seen this coming? Masamune DID say “Whats wrong with Lord Nobunaga? I’d kiss him.” So yeah—he did warn us he was pretty loyal 😭
He’s like the cooking, more tame version of Kenshin.
Sorry if the translations are a little janky~ please reach out if you would like to help me translate! (There’s some really cool text heavy material I really want to upload!)
the oda forces play minecraft together (ft. sasuke)
as you could imagine, it took all of them a while to get used to the concept of video games. not only are they completely new to technology, they were also incredibly confused by the concept of pressing buttons to pretend like you're doing something on a screen.
wait until sasuke introduces them to fighting games. oh, the chaos that that would be.
individual headcanons for each warlord under the cut!
Sasuke
needless to say, sasuke is the one that convinced the warlords to play. he knows every single thing there is to know about this game, including how to use redstone, which he uses for all his ninja shenanigans, like hidden bases. every now and then, he uses invisibility potions to see what everyone is up to. especially ieyasu.
Nobunaga
the mining and crafting might amuse him, but there is one thing he loves even more: war. he actively chases out pillager posts to clear them and rescue the villagers. along with the rest of the oda forces, he's "adopted" a village, renovated it and made it prosper. how noble!
Hideyoshi
nobunaga is always his number one priority and minecraft won't change that. he will do anything to get nobunaga the best gear for his crusades: spending countless hours looking for diamonds, trading with villagers, gathering experience. of course, he also has to keep everyone else in check. if it weren't for him placing torches around their base, nighttime would be absolute chaos.
Masamune
when hideyoshi is out farming materials, he is nobunaga's sidekick. the pillagers stand no chance against those two. any self-respecting minecraft player has an update they will beg mojang to make until the day they die, and masamune's is a cooking update. seriously, you're limiting this man to cooking meat and veggies and baking cookies, pies and cakes? if only sasuke told him about mods...
Ieyasu
he found the game stupid (or at least he swore he did) until he ran into a cleric in a village and saw a potion stand. he immediately ran to sasuke (the minecraft pro) to demand he tell him ask him how to use it. now he spends his time gathering all kinds of materials and combining them to make potions. seriously, he won't give up until he's found all of them.
Mitsunari
mitsunari is surprisingly good at minecraft. he has no clue what he's doing, but he easily takes down hostile mobs. however, he dedicates his time to farming (no carrots though), taking care of animals, and decorating. have you ever seen those minecraft decoration tutorials and wondered "wow, who decided to combine those blocks that way to make that decoration?"? it's mitsunari. he did that. he would absolutely go ham on creative mode, but sasuke chose not to tell him about it lest he ignore all his other responsibilities in favor of building temples.
Ranmaru
ranmaru loves running around, appreciating the different views across all the different biomes. his number one mission? to find a cat of each breed. he just loves the animals! he has an army of cats and dogs following him at all times, much to the dismay of creepers and skeletons. his favorite mob is the panda, and he also likes to collect saplings of each type of wood, which he gives to mitsunari for his decorating.
Mitsuhide
you should have seen the joy on this man's face when he discovered redstone, pressure plates, TNT, trapped chests and tripwire. he's away from their base most of the time (doing god knows what), but when he is there, he's certainly up to no good. the person he pranks the most is, of course, hideyoshi, but no one is ever safe. after ieyasu killed mitsuhide one too many times, sasuke had to disable PVP.
