BASHIRA IS ALL ABOUT GRAND GESTURES AND, like, showing her love and appreciation to people in big ways. Bakari will off handedly mention how there is a metal in the Underworld that he wants to craft an armor that he dreams to make but how Hades won't ever let it happen so Bashira quite literally goes down to the underworld and, like, does a bunch of hellish trials in order to get the metal for Bakari and she's all: "I'M BAAACK!♡ For you, dearest brother."
Bakari: "What is it- WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU!?"
Or like, Zelena frowns because she doesn't have enough dragon scales for a spell and they're so tedious to get so Bashira is all: "Say no more, Lady Zelena. For you are a friend of mine and what kind of friend would I be if I did not aid you?" and Manny and Chase are all: "BASHI, NO- Aaaand, she's gone..." and when Bashira comes back with golden dragon scales, Amias is sobbing at the next team meeting and talking about how Bashira AMBUSHED HIM OUT OF NOWHERE. So, like, even if she does make these grand gestures, she does have a problem with outright stating stuff.
When her and Desdemona get together, Bashira WILL do something big and grand and once Desdemona accepts the gesture, Bashira immediately starts treating her like they're dating and Desdemona not noticing for a while. Like, Desdemona is all: "Oh, when do you plan on making me yours, Shira~" and like, she's obviously being genuinely but flirting to fluster Bashira but Bashira just responding: "Are we not already lovers? I suppose I had not officially stated it. Would you like me to say it out loud?"
and Desdemona briefly being caught off gaurd and flustered but then she smiles and is all: "If you don't mind, your majesty!~"
