[ Leaving an unfamiliar object within the vicinity of the medic's usual area of activity will, inevitably, obtain his attention. It may take a bit for him to pause his other activities to focus on it, but patience will be rewarded with the sight of the ambulance investigating the New Thing with a quizzical expression and owl-like optics. If the object is easily identifiable, his interest will be brief, but if the point of its existence is not obvious, or it is a puzzle, he may be caught lost in thought until he has deduced the purpose of the New Thing in his claimed space, or solved it, if it is a puzzle.
