[ENG] ✧ Transmutation Spell ↓

This is an easy spell, for beginners and people who don't have lots of materials, it help us release and transform all that burdens our life.

⊹ Materials

A purple candle

A place with privacy

⊹ Instructions

Cleanse your candle, both physical and energetically.

Give your candle a purpose (some examples: "This candle helps me release the stress of the week and turn it into beneficial energy." "This candle helps me turn my sadness into calm and peace.")

Place your candle on a safe base (a white ceramic plate, a candle holder, a flat surface that won't burn).

Light your candle with intention (the transmutation begins).

Talk to your candle (tell it what has made you so stressed, tell it what makes you sad, cry if necessary), remember that what you tell it is what you are letting go of to obtain something better, don't be ashamed.

When you feel ready you can extinguish the candle, its work is now complete. The candle remains go in the trash; the good stuff is coming, the used stuff is going away.

Este es un hechizo sencillo, ideal para principiantes y personas que no disponen de muchos materiales; nos ayuda a liberar y transformar todo aquello que nos agobia en la vida.

Una vela morada

Un lugar con privacidad

⊹ Instructions

Limpia tu velita (tanto física como energéticamente).

Dale un propósito a la vela (ejemplos: "esta vela me ayuda a liberar el estrés de la semana y convertirlo en energía beneficiosa" "esta vela me ayuda a convertir mi tristeza en calma y paz").

Coloca tu vela en una base segura (un platito blanco de cerámica, un portavelas, una superficie plana que no que queme).

Enciende tu vela con intención (la transmutación empieza).

Habla con tu vela (cuéntale lo que te ha traído tan estresadx, cuéntale lo que te tiene triste, llora si es necesario), recuerda que lo que le cuentas es lo que estás soltando para obtener algo mejor, no tengas pena.

Cuando te sientas listx puedes apagar la vela, su trabajo ya fue completado. Los restos de la vela van en la basura, lo bueno ya llega, lo usado ya se va.

Enchanting Objects

Hello pals im Roy, hi, how are you? Im back! Isn’t that great, i think thats absolutely fabulous! Anyways little context, i was trapped because of the pandemic but im back home and that’s what matters.

Anyways let’s start with the very interesting topic of enchanting objects xd. 

What does enchanting objects mean? 

Basically and in a fast summary, you are putting your energy into that object so it fulfills an intention/purpose. Example, im gifting my best friend a little necklace, i enchanted it so it protects her against negativity and toxic people. 

Can the enchantment run out of energy (stop working)?

Yes, as most of spells that surround energy, they can stop working but don’t worry! There’s actually a great post regarding this topic by @scroll-of-thought​ right here that i would recommend to read. If you’re too lazy the summary is basically 1. create a sigil who recharges the enchanting through something simple such as touch or moonlight 2. create a spell jar who grabs energy from the surroundings and doesn’t need to be recharged. 

How do i enchant objects? 

1. Cleanse the object, you don’t want to put your energy into something that has negative energy in it. 

2. Then there’s actually a lot of ways of enchanting an object. So here’s a brief list: 

Enchanting with touch 

Visualizing energy running to the object (my post regarding visualization here)

Surround the item around crystals (if you have them) that match the intent

Draw a symbol/sigil on it with an invisible thing such as water, or idk be creative

In general i personally prefer the visualizing thing, but you know, paths are so different and maybe some people prefer enchanting with crystals! Remember not to use too many of your energy and that you can grab energy from other things such as plants, crystals, the sun, the moon, etc!

Hey all, I'm looking for some new book recommendations on various witchy topics! I'm interested in reading up on an assortment of topics, so throw me what you got! (Preferably non-Wiccan sources if possible)

I am interested in pursuing the basics of Witchcraft. . . where do I begin?

I have begun to develop an increasing interest in witchcraft. I don’t want to get into anything too heavy, but I am curious and wanted some basics to get my feet wet. Some history, basic spell casting, intent, herbs, etc. I am new to the idea and just want to explore a bit (safely and seriously of course). Is there somewhere I should begin? A good place to start?

I’d say start with a basic protection/warding spell. Those are always simple and very useful! A good place to start would be this post by breelandwalker. Best of luck!
